Hello 👋,
I'm Harrison.
I love emoji — not the standard unicode ones, the custom ones you find in Slack 😝. EmojiBox is the tool I wished existed.
A solo dev in Wellington who got way too into Slack custom emoji and is now committed to making them better for everyone.
Slack emoji, used right, become an integral part of your team's culture.
Company legends get told with a single reaction. A thousand words land in two symbols. People communicate better, there's less misunderstanding, and most importantly — remote work becomes a bit more fun.
The way Slack has built out its emoji features is terrific. But there's still some essential stuff you need to really be an "emoji-obsessed" workplace — and that's the gap I want EmojiBox to fill.
“Company legends can be told with a simple reaction.”
EmojiBox's mission is simple: easier ways to find what emoji mean, a place in Slack to see when the latest emoji land, and more creative ways to explore and manage your team's collection.
Got an idea, a gripe,
or just want to say hi?
I read every email myself. The best EmojiBox features came from someone telling me what was missing.
